Meet the Artist
Janet Soun, born and raised on Guam, is a certified permanent makeup artist with extensive experience and education in micropigmentation. You will notice her passion for her work and her commitment to exceeding your expectations from the moment you meet her. She received her education through the world-renowned Beauty Angels Academy and had rigorous training prior to accepting her first client. She has been trained by Beauty Angel Grand Master Trainer, Tanny Diep.
Working for a company for over 13 years that develops life-changing medical devices for cardiovascular conditions, Janet was inspired to impact lives in a way she never knew would be possible. She found passion in the beauty industry which allowed her to implement her creativity. Specifically, with enhanced eyebrows. She finds joy in knowing that she can create brows for each individual who want to feel and look beautiful.

SERVICES
MICROBLADING
Microblading is a relatively new manual method for enhancing eyebrows. It is considered to be permanent makeup. It is done by using a very fine blade to deposit pigment into the epidermis. Because the color is closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. Giving you the most realistic eyebrows.
MICROSHADING COMBO
Microblade + Shading (combo) gives you a natural yet defined brows all at once. You get the best of both worlds! This is also another choice, combining the art of both semi-permanent makeup techniques together to achieve the most natural looking result.
Powder Brows are created with a micropigmentation machine and it is recommended for customers that want a soft or darker ombre makeup look. This procedure is also recommended for customers that are not good candidates for microblading due to either previous permanent makeup, large pores or oily skin.

PMU REMOVAL
The tattoo and PMU removal technique is a method of tattoo and PMU ink extraction which is designed to remove tattoo and permanent makeup (PMU) ink pigments from the body. This method works much like having the original tattoo and PMU, but instead of ink it uses a specially formulated chemical that bonds with the original tattoo and PMU ink to draw it to the skin surface. The removal formula is delivered to the ink using a high specification digital permanent make-up machine.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
CONSULTATION
Welcome! A consent form will be filled out to ensure we have all the medical information necessary for the procedure and get to know you and your brow lifestyle. We'll examine your shape and ask you a few questions about your daily routine. You're welcome to bring any brow inspiration photos you may have and we'll discuss your shape preferences and brow pigment color. BROW MAPPING (20-30 MINS) Using our measuring tools, we'll custom design a brow outline that's best proportioned to your facial features. We'll both review the design and make any adjustments necessary. Once the brows are approved, we'll clean up the shape and fill those babies in!
MICROBLADING (3-4 HOURS)
Your brows are ready to begin their transformation! This is where we draw each individual hair by inserting pigment in the uppermost layer of the skin using a tiny handheld tool with a blade made of microneedles. We only use sterile ano disposable tools and are compliant with all regulations by the Riverside city health department. Each brow design is unique in the sense that no two natural eyebrows are exactly the same. Our shapes will be as symmetrical as they can be for your face, but to achieve the most natural look, the hair strokes may vary slightly per brow.
AFTERCARE
We made it! We will review after care instructions with you and provide you with an aftercare kit that includes everything you'll need for the initial healing period of 7-10 days. It's vital that you adhere to the aftercare instructions to achieve the best results and retention for your brows. We wouldn't want to waste all that time and TC we just invested into them!
PREP AND AFTER CARE
PRE-CARE
To achieve the most beautifully natural brows for your face, you will get the absolute best results by prepping for the appointment and following the after care. The eyebrow area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive, and non-irritated
HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SKIN FOR THE PROCEDURE
1 MONTH BEFORE
- No Botox or any fillers 4 weeks prior
- No Facials for 2 weeks prior
1 WEEK BEFORE
- No Tinting, Waxing or Electrolysis
- No Retinoid products
- No Tanning or intense Sun Exposure
MOST IMPORTANTLY: TO PREVENT BLEEDING AND POOR COLOR DEPOSIT 24 HOURS BEFORE
- No Alcohol
- No Caffeine (yes that means coffee)
- No Vitamin E or Fish Oil Supplements
- No Excessive Sweating or working out
- No Aspirin or any Aspirin Products
- No Ibuprofen or Aleve
All of the products mentioned above could cause excessive bleeding and will negatively affect the longevity of your semi-permanent makeup application. In some cases, the application may need to be prematurely stopped.
AFTER CARE
Post treatment care makes up 50% of the total treatment success. Conscientiously adhere to the given advice because if not, you can risk losing up to 80% of the drawn strokes.
At the end of your session, you will be given an after care kit to take home to care for your new brows. You will be given after care instructions, aftercare wipes and aftercare ointment to use daily for the next 7-10 days after your procedure.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR THE FIRST 7-10 DAYS:
Day 1:
Gently wipe the treated area with an aftercare wipe 2 hours after the procedure, always wash your hands before touching your eyebrows. Allow the skin to dry and then apply a thin layer of the aftercare ointment with a cotton swab, Repeat every 2 hours the first day For Normal Skin, repeat every 2 hours
For Oily Skin, repeat once before bed
Days 2 & 3:
Gently dab the treated area with the wipes prior to applying the provided ointment, make sure the treated area is always dry before applying a thin layer of the aftercare ointment with a cotton swab
Use a very small amount of the aftercare ointment, otherwise it will suffocate your brows. Apply aftercare ointment 3-5 times a day for normal skin, 1-2 times daily for oily skin.
Days 4 - 7:
Clean with a wipe and apply a thin layer of the aftercare ointment.
For Normal Skin, 2-3 times per day
For Oily Skin 1-2 times per day to prevent drying and scabbing of the brows.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR THE FIRST 7-10 DAYS AFTER THE PROCEDURE
• Avoid getting the treated area wet for 7-10 days
• No sweating or excessive exercise for 7 days
• Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen on the brow area for 7 days
• No facials, botox, chemical peels or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks
• Avoid face or body massage, eyelash extensions, brow waxing, swimming, whirlpools or sauna for 7 days.
• No major sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks. You must use a hat if you are in the sun.
• Avoid makeup on the eyebrows
• No Hot Yoga for 10 days.
• Avoid tinting your eyebrows for 10 days
THE HEALING PROCESS
WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FIRST 6-8 WEEKS:
The first week is going to be gnarly. Here's a list of thoughts that will probably cross your mind:
• OMG these are way too dark and way too thick
• What have I done???
• Why are they staring back at me?
• I can't go out like this.. I look crazy.
The good news is, the Intensified color and slight redness are part of the initial stages of healing and will only be from days 2-5. Don't worry, don't freak out... just be patient. This is the initial shock phase and we ask that you just simply trust the process. After 7 days, the brows will fade about 20% and shrink about 10% to a much more natural look The sensation can be comparable to that of a slight burn and minimal peeling or flaking may take place. Refrain from picking at your brows as you may run the risk of removing pigment in the process.
Healing will vary with skin type, but you may experience color fading and loss of hair strokes. This is completely normal. We like to recommend a touch up session where we can assess your healing and fill in any missing strokes as well as give it a color boost. We can then recommend the best follow up timeline for future appointments.
POLICY
There are NO GUARANTEES made as we have no control during the healing process.
A NON-REFUNDABLE booking fee is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your overall cost. The remaining balance is processed on the day of your initial appointment.
Please review the pre-care and aftercare instructions carefully to avoid any fees or cancellation of your appointment. Cancellations will automatically result in a forfeit of your booking fee.
If you need to reschedule, a 48-hours notice is required. Failure to give a 48-hours notice will forfeit your booking fee and a new booking fee is required if you would like to reschedule. Each client is only allowed to reschedule twice.
Please note that if you fail to show up to your appointment, your booking fee is forfeited. If you decide to reschedule after the fact, a payment for the full service amount is required to secure another appointment.
Please notify us if you are running late for your appointment. Your appointment time will not be extended. If you are more than 25 minutes late, you forfeit your booking fee and the cancellation of your appointment. A new booking fee will be required to rebook a new appointment.
ALL BOOKING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
If you have existing cosmetic tattoos on your eyebrows from a different artist, you will need to text/email us clear photos in natural lighting to be pre-approved for a redo or cover up before booking an appointment. Failure to provide a photo prior to booking may result in a forfeit of your booking fee. In some cases, we may need to schedule an in office consultation to better assess your existing PMU.
Annual Touch-Ups are for existing clients only! All first time clients will be charged full price.
All transactions are final. No refunds will be issued
CONTRAINDICATIONS TO PERMANENT/ SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP
Please review the list below before booking. If you book an appointment and have one of the listed conditions, your appointment will be canceled and your booking fee will be forfeited.
• Under 18 years of age
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, shingles, open cuts, or wounds on/around the brow area
• Epilepsy/seizures
• Diabetes (requires doctor's clearance)
• Currently taking antibiotics
• Hemophilia or other bleeding disorders
• Cardiac valve disease, heart problems, or taking blood thinning medications
• Organ transplant, cancer or undergoing chemotherapy/radiation
• Hepatitis, compromised liver, HIV/AIDs
• Had Botox done (no Botox 1 month before and 1 month after procedure)
• Accutane (isotretinoin): Must wait at least 6 months before any treatment can be done
• On topical steroids, Retin-A or Renova (tretinoin)
• Autoimmune diseases (lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.)
• Immune compromised or have any other medical condition that causes slow healing or a high risk of infection
